(See Randolph Chaney.) Charlotte Chaney (1842-1908). She married James Neale in Lyttelton in 1860. He was a carpenter in Leithfield. She is buried in Balcairn cemetery. One of her descendants, Joyce Frankish nee Woodham, is married to a descendant of Mary Frankish nee Williams. They are retired and living in Little Akaloa; the Waghorns are their neighbours.
