According to a family member, this is Mrs Joseph Thompson nee Jane Dixon, who was born on February 26, 1848. On January 5, 1869, she married Joseph Thompson, who was a schoolmaster at Brookside. 1
The couple had at least one son, who had a shop in Darfield in the 1930s and 1940s. 2
